Located in the heart of Knoxville, Gary Heatherly has been capturing life on film for 15 years.  In addition to his two books, Knoxville Then and Now and Knoxville, Gateway to the South, his work has appeared extensively on front covers and inside feature articles in national magazines, on TV, and in ads for clients around the world. Now, through a strategic partnership with U.S. Consumer Net, Inc., Gary also provides photographs for Web sites as well as print work.  His photos are used extensively throughout the Knoxville Consumer Gateway.

Magazines (Magazine Samples)

Gary's work has appeared on the front cover of Outside Magazine, Caribbean Travel & Life numerous times, Delta, American and Northwest Airlines in flight magazines, Estates International Magazine and Men's Journal. Gary's photographs have been featured in Celebrating Knoxville Magazine since it's inception.

Television (Television Samples)

Gary's photographs appear as background images on the weather set of WBIR TV. WATE uses his Knoxville skyline as a background to their news anchor set and WVLT uses Gary's sunrise background to it's morning news anchor set.

Philippines (Philippines Samples)

In 1994 Gary was chosen by Knoxville-based production company Joint Effort and Atlanta-based Photobition along with Knoxville photographer Bill Armstrong to travel to the Philippines and photograph the scenic beauty throughout that country. The photographs were enlarged to 20'X50' backlit murals and used for set design for the Miss Universe Pageant held in Manila and viewed by hundreds of millions of people around the world.
