Spring brings hope and life to the seasons. After winter slumber the world bursts with color and vibrancy !    I love to capture detailed floral subjects and celebrate the beauty they convey.

The time of day that I choose adds the tonality and hue I want to convey. Late afternoon to dusk tends to bring out a surreal luminosity to my subjects. They almost seem to glow from within ! I like to photograph after a replenishing rain, the raindrops add scale and the fuel of life for these beautiful plants.
